During Covid-19 my family and I practiced social isolation. To pass the time we did a lot of reading. With as many books as my kids were going through we wanted a way to capture and celebrate all the amazing stories they reading and how it was making them feel during a time full of uncertainty. That’s how we came up with The My Book of Books: A Reading Journal for Kids. Ultimately it was created to celebrate the magic of books and to allow young readers to track each book they read.

Your reader can give each book a rating, draw or write about their favorite part of the story, and even imagine a new title. The log pages are quick and easy to complete so it doesn’t feel like homework but allows your child to record enough information to remember how the book made them feel. Also, your child will find several mazes and crossword puzzles sprinkled throughout to encourage them to open the journal again and again. Your child will feel a sense of accomplishment as they look back through their journal to remember the books they read.
